Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer required
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in electrical design, including schematics and panel layout; programming PLC’s and HMI’s or DCS
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in control systems engineering which relates to industrial automation systems (BPCS, CCS, SIS, BMS, HIPPS)
- Experience in control system applications throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation and subsequent client support
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure (Microsoft Server), virtualization (vMware, thin clients), and database (OSI-PI, SQL) set-up, configuration, and deployment
- Knowledge of process control fundamentals (control loops, loop tuning, instrumentation, control valves, interpretation of P&ID)
- Knowledge of Sensia Global Logic Solvers (BPCS and/or Safety Systems).
- Knowledge of Network for Industrial Automation Systems (Design, configuration, and troubleshooting of Layer 2 switches, routers, and firewalls)
- Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to industrial control systems including the NEC, NFPA 72, 85, 86, IEC61511, IEC 61508, API 14C, and UL508A
Preferred Qualifications:
