Join Ramboll Engineering Centre, an engineering design center based at the company’s India head office in Gurgaon.
Work with global Ramboll offices to provide optimized engineering design solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and review work from assistant engineers, design engineers, and modelers while maintaining deliverable quality.
- Contribute to bridge design and delivery, coordinating with drafting and modelling colleagues on complex tasks.
- Mentor and supervise engineers and provide development input to the Team Lead.
- Ensure technically correct, timely design documents and corresponding 3D models.
- Perform complex analysis using computer modelling and participate in team skill enhancement.
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a strong work ethic.
Qualifications and experience
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering and more than six years of bridge-design experience.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes is mandatory; consultancy experience is also mandatory.
- Detailed design knowledge of concrete, prestressed, and steel composite bridges and underground metro stations using Sofistik with Eurocodes.
- Hands-on experience with bridge design software such as Sofistik or StruSoft FEM Design.
Additional experience and skills
- Experience on Swedish projects or with Swedish National Annexes is an advantage.
- Contractor design-unit experience and interest in computational design, automation, and workflow standardisation are advantages.
- Candidates should coordinate effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, communicate well, and meet changing deadlines.
