Role Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop avionics application software using C and Embedded C.
• Work with architectures, multi-threaded programming, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for flight display systems.
• Debug, fix bugs, and enhance existing software.
• Perform hands-on feature testing and regression testing.
• Deliver quality software to Quality Assurance for further testing and verification.
• Participate in Agile development while meeting deadlines and contractual milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or an equivalent discipline.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in Embedded C, memory usage, and execution time allocation.
• Strong capability with RTRT and knowledge of data structures.
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C and coding standards such as MISRA.
• Experience writing system specifications and high-level and low-level requirements.
• Hands-on experience defining test procedures and performing verification.
• Experience with avionics embedded software development and software development life cycles.
• Knowledge of Git configuration management and avionics protocols including A429, A664/AFDX, RS232, and ARINC 653.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
