Senior EMC Engineer
Full Job Posting
Why This Role
Own a critical engineering function. Take responsibility for the EMC performance of advanced connector systems rather than serving only as a downstream test resource.
Influence real product decisions. Work directly with development teams and provide technical insight that shapes geometry, materials, shield interfaces, grounding, and validation strategy.
Solve complex problems hands-on. Spend meaningful time in the laboratory investigating results, testing hypotheses, and determining the physics behind product performance.
Build capability that lasts. Develop methods, guidance, and technical knowledge that will be reused across future Molex automotive connector platforms.
Challenge and improve established practices. Bring technical evidence, ask difficult questions respectfully, and help strengthen how the organization approaches EMC design and validation.
Work across products and disciplines. Collaborate with product engineering, simulation, laboratories, and global technical teams on new technologies and difficult customer challenges.
Work Environment
This role is based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and requires regular on-site laboratory work with physical connector samples, test fixtures, cables, calibration standards, VNAs, and related EMC/RF measurement equipment.
The position combines laboratory investigation, data analysis, design reviews, and collaboration with local and global product-development teams.
