Senior Electrical Estimation Engineer

Overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2–4 years of experience (UAE experience required)
• Strong knowledge of electrical estimation for residential, commercial, warehouse & industrial buildings
• Quantity take-off (QTO/BOQ) preparation from drawings
• Cost estimation for electrical, ELV & lighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Coordination with MEP teams for accurate estimates
• Knowledge of vendor quotations & comparative analysis.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project estimation and BOQ preparation skills, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and tender documentation.
• Candidates should possess solid civil engineering and electrical engineering knowledge relevant to construction and MEP projects.
• Candidates should possess effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Candidates should possess research and analytical skills to gather pricing data, benchmark costs, and assess market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline); advanced certifications in estimation or project management are an advantage.
• Several years of experience in electrical estimation within construction, MEP, or energy projects in the GCC region, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in estimation and tendering software, MS Excel, and reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
