Job summary
Join an MEP contracting team working on high-rise building construction projects in Dubai.
The role focuses on electrical design, load calculations, MEP coordination, and UAE authority approvals.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical designs, drawings, and load calculations for high-rise building projects.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, applicable electrical codes, and project specifications.
- Manage electrical design submissions and obtain approvals from relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with MEP disciplines, consultants, clients, and project teams to resolve technical and design issues.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to site teams and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely completion of submissions and approvals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in MEP contracting and high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical system design, load calculations, and MEP coordination.
- Experience in UAE authority submissions and approval procedures.
- Proficiency in relevant electrical design software and engineering tools.
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience: 10–15 years.
