What you'll bring

  • You're an experienced engineer with a strong track record of delivering complex projects, managing technical risk and working across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng), or able to demonstrate equivalent competence Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the IET Experience & Skills Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects in operational or infrastructure environments Experience managing equipment packages from specification through to commissioning and handover Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes, including BS, API, ASME, ISO and IEC Strong understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and DSEAR 2002 CompEx certified or equivalent experience working on electrical equipment in hazardous areas Working knowledge of gas industry engineering and safety standards Experience working with vendors and OEMs, including technical reviews and bid evaluations Strong understanding of process safety, engineering governance and Management of Change (MOC) Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks while maintaining engineering integrity Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills Experience supporting commissioning, operational readiness and asset handover Ability to mentor others and drive continuous improvement and innovation Full UK driving licence This is an exceptional opportunity to play a leading role in delivering safe, reliable and innovative engineering solutions that support our network now and into the future.
