The company seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with electrical power, ELV, and construction-site execution expertise.
Data center project experience is an added advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents for compliance with requirements and standards.
- Supervise and coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical power and ELV systems.
- Guide site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors; monitor site work against approved drawings, quality standards, and schedules.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, MEP, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project management teams to resolve issues and clashes.
- Review material and technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests; conduct site inspections.
- Monitor project milestones and supervise troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, authority requirements, safety, and quality procedures.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain site, inspection, and project documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 12–15 years of electrical engineering experience in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and ELV systems.
- Hands-on site experience in electrical installation, execution, supervision, testing, and commissioning.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, material submittals, technical documentation, standards, quality, and site safety.
- Experience coordinating with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Problem-solving, analytical, communication, and coordination skills; ability to manage site activities, meet deadlines, and work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Data center construction project experience is an added advantage.
