What You Bring

• A diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, or another relevant technical discipline. Relevant experience in electrical design within a consulting engineering, industrial, energy, mining or infrastructure environment. Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD. A good understanding of electrical substations, industrial electrical systems and power distribution systems. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards applicable to projects in Newfoundland and Labrador and Canada. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Strong attention to detail, sound technical judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability and willingness to undertake site visits and provide field support when required. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. For a Senior-level candidate, we will also value demonstrated experience in leading design activities, reviewing technical deliverables, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and mentoring less-experienced designers. Assets Experience with 3D modelling and BIM environments. Experience in the energy, mining, industrial, transportation or infrastructure sectors. Experience working with electrical utilities and familiarity with utility design requirements. Experience supporting projects through construction and commissioning. Previous experience in an EPCM or multidisciplinary consulting environment. Why join us?
