Senior EHS Specialist
Role Overview
The Senior EHS Specialist role will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental health and safety regulations.
This role will conduct regular inspections and audits to meet the sites’ reporting requirements.
Acting as a liaison to our Global Environmental Health & Safety organization, the Specialist EHS Sr will focus on Global Risk Procedures, including air emissions, waste management, and stormwater protocols.
Additionally, this role will drive the execution of site-specific targets and objectives in alignment with Donaldson's overarching environmental, health, and safety strategies.
Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Frankfort, Indiana facility.
The Senior EHS Specialist will support both the Frankfort and Monticello facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience, including professional work experience, internships, co-ops, or other applicable experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting
- Experience in management of environmental compliance including Title V air permit and hazardous waste.
- Excellent understanding of EHS regulations and standards.
- Forklift experience.
- Chemical waste tracking and labeling.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, and compliance.
- Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
