RUKOOZ seeks a Senior Draftsman for custom joinery, architectural woodwork, and interior fit-out projects.

The candidate needs strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
- Review architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to develop accurate production drawings.
- Produce detailed sections, elevations, layouts, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to ensure technical accuracy.
- Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware schedules as required.
- Resolve technical issues and propose practical joinery solutions during drafting.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements; support production and site teams with technical clarifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing control procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, drafting, interior design, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in joinery and woodworking industries.
- Strong expertise preparing detailed shop and production drawings; AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings.
- Strong understanding of joinery construction details, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, project management, and deadline management.
Preferred skills
- Experience with joinery, architectural woodwork, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and wall panelling is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC production requirements and manufacturing workflows is preferred.
- SketchUp or other 3D modeling experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with UAE construction and fit-out standards is preferred.
Salary
- Salary range: AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
