Role overview
Full-time, on-site Senior Document Controller role in Abu Dhabi Emirate, supporting the engineering and procurement department.
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering and procurement documents, including drawings, project documentation, contracts, and records.
- Receive, register, track, and distribute documents; maintain version control, archiving, logs, and databases.
- Coordinate document reviews and approvals with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Support audits and compliance checks and implement document control procedures.
- Prepare reports, respond to information requests, and guide colleagues on systems and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong document control, document management, and records management expertise.
- Ability to develop and maintain documentation for engineering and procurement activities.
- Experience with EDMS, MS Office, and relevant document control software.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, and organization; ability to manage concurrent document streams under time constraints.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and quality management procedures.
- Engineering, procurement, construction, or oil and gas project background and prior senior or lead document control experience are preferred.
- A relevant diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, information management, or a related field is advantageous.
