Role overview

Responsibilities

• Set and track operational and financial targets; supervise and mentor management teams.
• Align merchandising, supply chain, and customer service strategies with business objectives.
• Work with executive leadership to evaluate market opportunities and manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Review performance data, identify improvements, and lead change initiatives supporting sustainable growth and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail, supermarkets, or fast-moving consumer goods, including leading multi-site operations.
• Strong strategic planning and business management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor diverse teams in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across departments and with external partners.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, supply chain processes, merchandising, and customer experience best practices.
• Comfort with hybrid work and flexibility to be regularly present on-site in Dubai.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Retail, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is an advantage.
• English fluency is required; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Multicultural experience and familiarity with Middle East market dynamics are preferred.
