Senior Design Engineer - Infrastructure

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical documentation.
• Generate material take-offs and perform structural analyses in accordance with applicable international standards.
• Develop technical solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and design reviews with customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct site visits, verify design implementation, and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and project teams on technical and commercial solutions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Support value engineering, design optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum eight years of experience in formwork, falsework, shoring, and scaffolding design.
• Proven experience on major infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels.
• Strong structural analysis, engineering calculation, and international design-standard interpretation capability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively under pressure.
• Advanced AutoCAD 2D and 3D and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Mandarin is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Dlubal RFEM, RSTAB, and PERI Force Control is a distinct advantage.
• Site experience in construction, temporary works, or infrastructure delivery is highly desirable.
