• Database Administration & Operations
- Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server (2017/2019/2022/2025) environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability using AlwaysOn Availability Groups and clustering
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
Security, Compliance & Hardening
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls
- Drive database hardening activities in line with organizational standards
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks
- · Review and work with compliance team to finalize and implement baseline security controls for databases
Patch & Vulnerability Management
- Coordinate and execute
- patching activities
- across database environments
- Work with enterprise patching tools such as
- Ivanti, SCCM, or equivalent
- Maintain and document the patch execution tracker.
- Collaborate with the
- Vulnerability Management team
- to analyze and remediate findings from
- Qualys reports
- Track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams
- Support change management and release activities
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit readiness artifacts
On-Call Support
- Actively participate in
- 24x7 on-call rotation
- , providing support for critical incidents and escalations
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and service restoration
