Senior Data Governance Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop governance reporting, dashboards, and performance measures for assurance and visibility of progress.
• Gather and manage business, reporting, and tooling requirements; turn priorities into deliverables and user stories.
• Manage tooling backlogs and coordinate with engineers, information modellers, and technical teams on functionality and improvements.
• Support governance processes, reporting capabilities, assurance, KPI monitoring, evidence collection, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate roadmap delivery through action tracking, planning, dependency management, and progress reporting.
• Prepare communications, presentations, stakeholder updates, and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement.

• Work independently across governance reporting, requirements, backlogs, and delivery support.
• Translate strategic governance priorities into deliverable requirements and implementation activities.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively across business, Information Architecture, Data, and Technology stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven insights and reporting for governance discussions and decisions.
