  • Apply architecture standards, translate business requirements into practical solutions, and maintain catalogues, metadata and lineage.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, analysts and business stakeholders.

Essential experience and skills

  • Significant experience developing data integration, migration and warehousing solutions using one or more ETL platforms, such as Talend, Microsoft Fabric, FME or SSIS.
  • In-depth SQL knowledge, including query and stored procedure optimisation.
  • Experience building robust pipelines using Python, PySpark or other relevant programming languages.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric solution design and development across pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses and data layers.
  • Strong data modelling and data discovery skills.
  • Experience implementing testing and data quality controls.

Advantageous experience

  • Creating and maintaining catalogues, technical metadata and data lineage with Microsoft Purview or another metadata management platform is advantageous.

Workplace

  • Hybrid working, typically around one day a week in the office, with flexibility to discuss arrangements.
