The opportunity

The role is a hands-on individual-contributor position with business and leadership contact and scope to shape data practices.
Role ownership
- Analyze product usage, cohorts, conversion, retention and commercial performance.
- Deliver recommendations to Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
- Build self-service dashboards and reliable team reporting.
- Establish shared metric definitions, documentation and data-quality checks.
- Investigate business questions, explain findings and recommend action.
- Combine data sources while documenting gaps and limitations.
- Support colleagues' day-to-day data use and quarterly reviews.
- Shape future warehouse reporting requirements, data models and definitions with engineering and external specialists.
Data environment
- Current systems include MySQL, HubSpot, Google Analytics and Metabase; cross-system analysis still involves manual work.
- Housr plans a more connected data platform, with analysis work continuing while it develops.
What Housr is looking for
- Has taken analysis from an initial business question to an actionable recommendation.
- Confident with SQL, relational data, dataset joins and validation.
- Has built dashboards in Metabase or a comparable BI tool and helped colleagues use them.
- Understands cohorts, conversion, retention, customer acquisition cost and lifetime value.
- Communicates findings clearly to non-data colleagues and describes evidence limitations.
- Organised, detail-oriented, able to prioritise, and constructive when challenging assumptions.
Useful additional experience
- Marketplace, consumer product, subscription or growing technology company experience is useful.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics or a warehouse project is helpful.
- Open to an existing senior-level candidate or an experienced analyst ready for broader ownership.
