Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented **Senior Credit Analyst** to join our finance team in Doha.
In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating credit risk, supporting strategic decisions, and maintaining a strong and healthy credit portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis on clients, partners, and new business opportunities
- Review financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess risk exposure
- Recommend credit limits, terms, and approval decisions
- Monitor existing accounts and identify early warning signs of credit risk
- Develop and enhance credit risk models and reporting tools
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and management teams to align credit strategy with business goals
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior leadership
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and forecasting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
