Job Summary
Binghatti is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Cost Controller to oversee project cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple developments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Analyzing cost variances and identifying financial risks and cost overruns.
- Monitoring contracts, purchase orders, commitments, and subcontractor payments.
- Reviewing contractor and supplier invoices and validating payment applications.
- Collaborating closely with Finance, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Management teams to ensure accurate cost control and reporting.
- Supporting project feasibility studies and budget planning for new developments.
- Providing management with actionable financial insights to support decision-making and improve project performance.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in Cost Control, Project Finance, or Commercial Management within the construction or real estate development sector.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to challenge costs, drive accountability, and influence project teams effectively.
