Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and expenditures.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budget updates.
- Track project progress against planned budgets and identify cost variances.
- Analyze project costs, cash flows, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Planning Engineers, and site teams.
- Review BOQs, variations, subcontractor costs, and payment applications.
- Support cost estimation, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
- Identify potential cost risks and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Ensure accurate cost reporting and compliance with project budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction cost control.
- Strong experience in high-rise building projects.
- Good knowledge of project budgeting, cost forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant cost-control software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE construction experience is preferred.
