Senior Cost Accountant

We are a fast-growing and continuously evolving organization, and we are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant who can adapt to our dynamic environment and support our ongoing expansion.

The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all areas related to manufacturing cost accounting, including cost control, inventory valuation, budgeting, operational expense monitoring, and financial performance analysis.

The role requires a proactive finance professional with strong manufacturing experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to deliver strategic financial insights that support operational efficiency and business growth.

Lead and manage all cost accounting activities related to manufacturing operations.

Develop, implement, and monitor effective cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Monitor daily operational expenses and payment transactions to ensure compliance with approved budgets and financial policies.

Perform detailed analysis of production variances (materials, labor, and overhead) and provide corrective recommendations.

Oversee inventory costing, valuation, reconciliations, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Prepare and analyze monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), margin analysis, and operational performance reports for senior management.

Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with production and operations teams.

Review financial and operational processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and reporting efficiency.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.

Collaborate with factory management and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred.

Minimum 7 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong expertise in:

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and financial reporting tools.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present financial insights to operational management
