Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's AI Infrastructure organization, building GPU-focused cloud infrastructure for customer AI workloads.
Scale and optimize GPU control-plane and data-plane components so customers can scale from tens to thousands of GPUs while maintaining performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Provide technical leadership, clarify ambiguous problems, and collaborate across teams to improve AI infrastructure and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions to scale and optimize AI compute infrastructure components, including GPU control-plane and data-plane systems.
- Build modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, compliant, and reusable infrastructure services and components.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and product management to understand requirements and design orchestration solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote telemetry-informed decisions, clear interfaces, design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, comprehensive testing, and production monitoring.
- Develop benchmark metrics and automation to measure and improve performance and reliability across workloads and the infrastructure stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Go, or Rust.
- 3 years of experience designing and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and services.
- 1 year of experience providing technical leadership and clarity to cross-functional teams and projects.
- Systematic problem-solving, strong communication, ownership, and drive; ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure with hundreds of thousands of servers is preferred.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience scheduling high-performance workloads on Kubernetes or Slurm is preferred.
