Position summary

Mapping and data responsibilities

• Reconcile inconsistent names, identifiers, and structures across sources to map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed DecodeRx hierarchies.
• Research and enrich records, confirming plan type, parent organization or controller, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations.
• Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare outputs for senior validation, quality-check junior mappings, and resolve exceptions.
• Validate, cleanse, enrich, and monitor data quality; identify critical data elements and define data quality standards with stakeholders.
• Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, metadata practices, governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Profile and analyze data, recommend solutions to quality issues, and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
• Integrate data management into adjacent Operations, development, and delivery processes; train end users on mapping and data management practices.
• Ensure privacy, security, and regulatory compliance; participate in governance committees and enterprise data management strategies.
• Gather internal user and external client feedback and translate needs into data product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary or claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
• Familiarity with payer and HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
• Experience with master data management, data profiling, and analysis tools; at least two combined years of experience involving United States healthcare data.
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance; advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency for analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
• Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management tools, and Snowflake, are desired qualifications.
