Your key duties Buro Happold is looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Senior Consultant to join our dynamic Programme Advisory team in Riyadh. In this role, you’ll work with some of the region’s most influential clients to bridge the gap between strategy and execution on transformative programmes and portfolios. From setting up governance frameworks to navigating risks and implementing delivery models - your insights will shape outcomes that matter.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on execution strategies, roadmaps, and delivery models.
• Lead programme governance, investment readiness, and strategic alignment assessments.
• Shape portfolios and programmes with clear performance targets and delivery metrics.
• Oversee set-up and performance of complex programmes from inception to implementation.
• Navigate risks, assess delivery options, and improve stakeholder coordination.
• Support project teams in aligning time, scope, and cost for optimal outcomes.
• Provide insights on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models, integrating sustainability, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Guide complex multi-stakeholder projects with clear, strategic direction.
• Benchmark delivery models against global best practice
• Develop realistic, risk-informed timelines, budgets, and implementation plans.

Your Skills And Experience

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, programme advisory, or delivery-focused roles.
• Exposure to high-performing consultancy environments (e.g. advisory divisions within major international firms).
• A track record of delivering strategic advice and driving execution on complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
• Familiarity with governance, organisational design, risk and stakeholder management.
• Background in infrastructure, engineering, or public/private sector development preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• Must be a Saudi National
