About the Role
MDC Engineers & Consultants is seeking a Senior Consultant Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting design in Doha. The role requires 12+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in Revit MEP and HAP.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and review of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical Systems
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines throughout project stages
- Ensure compliance with QCDD, QCS, Ashghal requirements, and relevant international codes
- Attend client meetings and provide technical support throughout project execution
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical recommendations when required
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of the mechanical engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in mechanical design consultancy
- Grade A Classification from the Ministry of Municipality (Qatar) is preferred
- QCDD Consultant Classification is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and building services design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other relevant engineering software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Previous experience in consultancy projects within Qatar
