Senior Consultant - Lending Technology

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Support initiatives across loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections.
• Contribute to implementation and enhancement of loan management and digital lending platforms.
• Gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Assist with configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment.
• Support integration with core banking and external platforms.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and client presentations.

Skills and Attributes

• Experience in retail, commercial, or corporate lending.
• Strong understanding of the lending lifecycle, including origination, credit assessment, underwriting, and servicing.
• Familiarity with loan platforms and banking systems.
• Understanding of system integration, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

What We Look For

• 4–7 years of experience in banking technology or financial services consulting.
• Experience supporting delivery across design, build, and implementation phases.
• Exposure to lending transformation or loan platform initiatives.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with lending platforms such as nCino, Finastra, Temenos, FIS, or similar is preferred.
• Knowledge of digital lending and customer experience transformation is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory and risk considerations in lending is preferred.

Compensation

• EY lists a Senior Consultant salary range of CAD 90,500–CAD 136,000 for Toronto and Montreal.
• Individual salary placement considers factors including internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
