Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements.
  • Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Advise clients on VAT registration, deregistration, refunds, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist clients VAT audits, and tax assessments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/local accounting standards and applicable tax laws.
  • Monitor changes in VAT and tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
  • Assist Chinese-speaking clients with accounting, taxation, and financial matters.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting and VAT consulting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations.
  • Experience working with Chinese companies or multinational organizations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in
