Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements.
- Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Advise clients on VAT registration, deregistration, refunds, and compliance requirements.
- Assist clients VAT audits, and tax assessments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/local accounting standards and applicable tax laws.
- Monitor changes in VAT and tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
- Assist Chinese-speaking clients with accounting, taxation, and financial matters.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting and VAT consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Experience working with Chinese companies or multinational organizations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in
