As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for performing advanced surgical procedures, guiding clinical decision-making, and mentoring junior medical staff. Your expertise will help shape patient care protocols and contribute to the hospital’s commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:* Conduct detailed assessments and diagnoses of patients with colorectal diseases
- Perform complex surgical interventions, including open and minimally invasive techniques
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment and management plans
- Lead and mentor junior consultants, surgeons, and healthcare professionals
- Provide comprehensive patient education regarding treatment options and recovery expectations
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery
Requirements
- Medical degree with valid licensure to practice medicine in the UAE as a Colon and Rectal Surgeon
- Completion of residency and fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Proven extensive experience in colorectal surgical procedures, preferably in a senior or consultant role
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing clinical teams
- In-depth knowledge of colorectal diseases, surgical techniques, and post-operative care
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic abilities, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and multidisciplinary team engagement
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and ethical medical practice
- Experience working in a government or public hospital setting in UAE or comparable healthcare systems is preferred
- Willingness to participate in continual professional development and clinical research
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
