Role overview
Part-time, hybrid Senior Construction Planner position based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility.
Coordinates and plans construction activities supporting logistics and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction schedules and align project plans with operational requirements.
- Monitor progress against milestones and budgets.
- Collaborate with project control teams, procurement specialists, and construction managers to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage risks and maintain clear project documentation.
- Analyze project performance, update planning tools, and propose process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong construction and project planning skills to create, maintain, and optimize schedules and workflows.
- Project control skills to track progress, manage risks, and report costs, timelines, and performance indicators.
- Procurement and construction skills to coordinate material sourcing, understand site requirements, and support execution.
- Relevant logistics, infrastructure, or industrial project experience is sought, ideally in the Middle East.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Tools and professional skills
- Proficiency with planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6, and strong Excel skills.
- Analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities are required.
- Advanced certifications in project planning or project management are an advantage.
