This is a part-time Senior Construction Planner role based in Dubai with a hybrid arrangement combining onsite work and work-from-home flexibility.
The planner develops and maintains detailed construction schedules, coordinates project planning, and supports project controls to help meet milestones and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams; monitor progress against plans and identify risks and variances.
- Recommend corrective actions and coordinate procurement timelines with construction requirements.
- Prepare planning and progress reports and keep planning data accurate, timely, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations.
- Improve planning standards and tools and support effective stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Strong construction and project planning skills, including detailed schedules for complex construction projects.
- Project control experience in progress tracking, variance analysis, and schedule and resource performance reporting.
- Experience coordinating procurement with construction schedules and understanding construction operations and site workflows.
- Experience with planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project; strong MS Excel and productivity-tool proficiency.
- Relevant education in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Clear written and verbal English communication, collaborative ability in multicultural teams, and strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
