Senior Construction Planner

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedule updates with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and contractors.
• Manage critical paths and identify project risks or delays.
• Analyze progress reports; prepare forecasts and resource allocation plans.
• Support project control activities to maintain cost and time efficiency.
• Prepare planning documentation and present schedule status to leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong construction planning, project planning, and project control skills.
• Procurement knowledge to align materials and resources with construction timelines.
• Construction knowledge to collaborate with site teams, contractors, and technical specialists.
• Experience with planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, plus strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Advanced planning or project management certifications, such as PMP or Primavera, are beneficial.
• Large-scale real estate or infrastructure project experience and familiarity with local regulations and standards are advantageous.
