- Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction management / supervision and general project engineering in oil and gas industry
- Team leader demonstrating focus, enthusiasm, sensitivity, mentoring and coaching qualities
- Proven experience in the management of office, site construction, and commissioning teams
- Experience in managing client and Wood direct 3 rd Party Support Contractors, including productivity performance, safety & quality outputs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates effective delegation and team development with a focus on productivity and project integration
- Ability to influence and challenge others to ensure project delivery aligned with the Wood project execution organisation and Wood policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and coordinate multiple crews in various field locations
- Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
- Able to manage 70-100 Client & Wood 3 rd Party and Wood Direct construction and commissioning personnel covering professional, trade and direct sub contractors
- Ensure site execution in line with the respective principal and 3 rd party contract terms and conditions
- Demonstrates effective delegation and team development with a focus on productivity and project integration
- Demonstrates the ability to manage uncertainty to achieve a balance in the competing demands of the business
- Work behaviours enhance the Company’s reputation
- Actively develops relationships with customers and WOOD entities via regular contact and involvement. Demonstrates ability to develop long and short term service relationships that are cost efficient
- Ensures that the construction and commissioning team is operating within the WOOD and client processes by conducting regular audits, reviews and compliance audits within projects
- Demonstrates sound, fact-based decision making, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to help teams achieve goals
- Project Change Management
- Able to understand changing trends and developments within Industrial Relations and communicates their impact to the business
