Senior Legal Counsel – Construction
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our client on a
6 month
in-house secondment based in
Abu Dhabi
- .
- This role will support large-scale residential and commercial projects across the Emirates and requires hands-on legal expertise on construction matters.
- What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' PQE, qualified in a common law or recognised regional jurisdiction
- Strong front-end construction experience - drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, consultancy agreements, procurement documentation and tender packages
- Experience advising on disputes, claims and delay matters
- Solid understanding of UAE construction and development regulatory frameworks
- Ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice to project, commercial and technical teams
- Confident managing multiple concurrent matters with autonomy
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
- Prior in-house or secondment experience in construction, infrastructure or real estate organisations preferred
