The Opportunity: Architect a Global Function

We are a fast-growing firm in the fintech and CFD brokerage sectors.

As part of our current scaling phase, we are building a brand-new, centralized global Compliance Department from the ground up.

Rather than adopting a generalized approach, we are structuring this department into specialized verticals.

We need a seasoned, hands-on leader to take full ownership of the

Regulatory Compliance Unit

Because the wider department is newly established, this role does not offer a predictable corporate safety net.

Instead, it provides a clean slate, high autonomy, and the mandate for a strong professional to design a global framework from scratch and leave a distinct footprint on our organization.

Strategic Mandate & Responsibilities

As the Regulatory Compliance Lead, you will be the foundational architect of your vertical, leading a growing team to safeguard our global operations:
**Vertical Leadership:**
Establish, mentor, and structurally organize the newly formed Regulatory Compliance Unit, optimizing performance and workload distribution.
**Framework Architecture:**
Develop and enforce our global compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions, successfully balancing onshore and offshore regulatory requirements.
**Departmental Synergy:**
Collaborate with the Head of Compliance, Regional Compliance Officers, and other vertical heads to ensure a unified global strategy.
**Cross-Functional Advisory:**
Partner with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Legal to seamlessly embed compliance into product development, partner programs (IBs), and financial promotions.
**Assurance & Liaison:**
Oversee internal compliance audits, manage conflicts of interest, and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a mature professional who navigates ambiguity with commercial acumen and regulatory precision.
**Fintech/Brokerage Expertise:**
Minimum of 5 years of regulatory compliance experience, specifically derived from a
CFD brokerage, fintech, or dynamic financial services consultancy/advisory firm
.
*Please note: Candidates with a purely AML/KYC or traditional retail banking background will not meet the specialized regulatory scope of this position.*
**Hands-On Leadership:**
Proven experience managing compliance professionals, paired with a willingness to execute and draft frameworks directly.
**Multi-Jurisdictional Navigation:**
Strong knowledge of navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments, including both local and offshore frameworks.
**Resilience & Autonomy:**
Comfort operating in an evolving environment where processes are actively being built rather than simply maintained.
**Communication Mastery:**
Exceptional command of written and spoken English, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business insights for global stakeholders.
