Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused **Senior Compliance Officer** to join our Doha team.
This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices while supporting a strong culture of compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Develop, review, and update compliance frameworks and procedures
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend corrective actions
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
- Investigate compliance breaches and prepare detailed reports
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance standards
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and operational teams to strengthen governance
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification (CAMS, CRCM, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and corporate governance
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and ethical standards
