Senior Commercial Analyst

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, margin and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for profitable decisions.
• Produce and maintain commercial reporting and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support customer contract management through pricing reviews, profitability analysis and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Fleet, Finance and operational teams to influence decisions, support growth initiatives and improve commercial performance.
• Contribute to tenders, pricing strategies and continuous improvement projects to maximise revenue, margin and customer outcomes.

Candidate requirements

• Experience in a comparable Senior Commercial Analyst, Finance or Commercial Business Partner, or similar commercially focused role.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting complex financial, commercial or operational data.
• Ability to translate data into insight and recommendations that drive business performance; confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential; Power BI exposure is beneficial.
• A proactive, commercially focused mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Experience in a similar fast-paced, complex organisation or industry.

Workplace and travel

• Hybrid working at the Redditch Support Centre: three days on site and an optional two days working from home.
• On-site days will primarily be in Redditch and may require travel to the Stockport Fleet Contact Centre or customer sites.
