Senior Cluster Facilities Engineer
About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Cluster Facilities Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to manage and oversee multiple facilities within a cluster. The role involves ensuring efficient operations, maintenance, and compliance across all assigned properties while optimizing performance, cost, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites within the assigned cluster
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems)
- Ensure all facilities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and authority requirements
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely service delivery
- Monitor SLA/KPI performance and ensure high service standards are maintained
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets , cost control, and reporting
- Implement energy efficiency and cost optimization initiatives
- Handle client communication and provide regular operational updates
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and CAFM system updates
- Lead and supervise facility teams and technicians across multiple locations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4–5 years of experience in facilities management , preferably handling multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and maintenance practices
- Familiarity with UAE regulations, HSE standards, and authority compliance
- Experience with CAFM systems and reporting tools
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
