Senior Cloud Security Architect

Role purpose

Client advisory and delivery

• Advise VP- and C-level stakeholders on enterprise security solutions and programmes.
• Align security strategy with customer business goals and recommend Microsoft security implementations.
• Deliver security, compliance, and identity projects through discovery, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Support migrations from incumbent security products to Microsoft security solutions.
• Provide technical oversight and support delivery teams across customer engagements.

Architecture and technical leadership

• Design Microsoft security architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud systems.
• Review cloud security architecture against strategic frameworks and guide Zero Trust and SASE adoption.
• Lead workshops and transformation programmes with customer technical teams and security leaders.
• Shape internal product and platform development through technical leadership to the CTO.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies, preview capabilities, and next-generation security controls.

Technical focus

• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and the wider Microsoft Security portfolio.
• Cloud, data, identity, compliance, and AI security.
• Security architecture, Zero Trust, and SASE.
• AI security experience involving Copilot, Security Copilot, generative AI, or agentic AI workflows is advantageous.

Practice context

Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in cloud and data security architecture and implementation.
• Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Security solutions.
• Ability to advise senior and executive customer stakeholders and translate security risks into business decisions.
• Experience leading customer-facing security engagements across discovery, analysis, design, build, test, and deployment.
• Experience with Zero Trust, cloud security frameworks, and security architecture reviews.
• Experience securing and governing AI solutions, including Copilot, Security Copilot, generative AI, or agentic AI workflows, is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, service delivery, engineering, Microsoft, and customer teams.
