Role overview

Cloud operations responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure and platform services; provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot complex incidents.
• Implement Azure networking with Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancers.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates; automate deployments with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Manage security, identity, and governance through Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and continuity using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Support Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric platforms.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 7 years in IT infrastructure and cloud operations, including hands-on enterprise Azure experience.
• Strong Azure administration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, networking, hybrid connectivity, and cloud architecture knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, governance, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Advantageous certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications are considered an advantage.
