Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialised analytical, risk and control advice to cloud‑focused initiatives and deliveries.
• Guide delivery teams through cloud risk management to support safe and timely adoption.
• Assess cloud workloads and initiatives against ASB’s control standards and risk tolerances.
• Own and maintain cloud adoption pipeline, workload placement assessments and related reporting.
• Partner with control owners to evolve and improve cloud controls, standards and guidelines.
• Provide regular management and group reporting on cloud adoption and associated risk insights.
• Respond to internal requests for information relating to cloud usage, adoption and risk.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to establish the Cloud Office as a trusted centre of excellence.
• Contribute to cloud policies, guidance and documentation to support modern cloud deployments.

Key Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in a senior analyst, business analyst or similar role in a technology environment.
• Good working knowledge of cloud platforms and modern cloud adoption patterns.
• Experience working with risk, controls, governance or compliance, ideally within cloud or technology domains.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and support decision making.
• Ability to communicate risk and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple streams of work at the same time.
• Comfortable operating in evolving environments where ways of working are still being defined.
• Confidence to appropriately challenge the status quo in support of safe cloud adoption.
• A mindset aligned to collaboration, transparency, continuous learning and improvement.
