About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure.
The successful candidate will ensure that our real estate platforms, CRM systems, and digital assets are highly available, secure, and cost-optimized to support our growing business operations.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud architecture on major platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols (IAM roles, VPCs, Firewalls) and encryption to protect sensitive client data and real estate transactions.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for all company digital services.
- Cost Optimization: Audit cloud resource usage and implement cost-saving strategies (Right-sizing, Reserved Instances) to maintain a lean budget.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Establish and test automated backup routines and disaster recovery plans to ensure zero data loss.
- Automation: Utilize Scripting (Python/Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate repetitive deployment tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to streamline deployment pipelines and ensure seamless integration between the cloud and internal software.
Requirements
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience:**
- 5-7years of hands-on experience in cloud administration and architecture.
- **Certifications:**
- Professional certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer) is highly preferred.
- **Networking:**
- Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, Load Balancers, and SSL/TLS.
- **Databases:**
- Proficiency in managing cloud-based databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).
- **Tools:**
Experience
with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools is a significant plus.
