You’ll combine hands-on engineering with architecture, documentation and knowledge sharing to build sustainable cloud capability across our teams. Working within a dynamic cloud enablement team, you’ll translate strategic requirements into practical technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. You’ll make a positive impact by: Designing and implementing AWS-based architectures across core cloud services Developing solution architectures, reference designs and technical documentation Configuring AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code best practices Collaborating with security, platform and application teams to deliver aligned solutions Troubleshooting complex cloud deployment, performance and integration issues Mentoring teams and sharing knowledge to uplift internal cloud capability Serco is a place for you You could be a great fit if you have: 10+ years’ IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture Strong expertise across core AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS and Lambda Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK Understanding of AWS Landing Zone concepts and the Landing Zone Accelerator Experience with CI/CD, automation and DevOps practices Strong communication, documentation, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills.
