Senior Claims Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to support the review, assessment, and management of construction-related claims on infrastructure and building projects.

The role involves analyzing contractor submissions related to extension of time (EOT), variations, and cost claims, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

The candidate will work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors to identify risks, review claim documentation, and support the preparation of responses and recommendations.

This position is ideal for professionals with solid experience in contracts, commercial functions, or claims who are looking to further develop their skills in claims evaluation within a structured project environment.

Review and analyze contractor claims including EOT, variations, and cost claims

Assist in evaluating entitlement and supporting documentation for claims submissions

Ensure claims comply with contract terms, conditions, and notice requirements (FIDIC or similar)

Maintain and update claims registers, logs, and tracking systems

Prepare summary reports on claims status, delays, and financial impact

Support development of responses to contractor claims and correspondence

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal project stakeholders

Participate in claims and progress meetings and provide inputs on issues

Identify risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in claim submissions

Support senior team members in negotiation and dispute avoidance activities
