Senior Civil Structural Designer - SP3D

Role overview

Modeling and design

• Develop and maintain detailed civil and structural models using SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
• Model primary and secondary steelwork, beams, columns, bracing, decks, platforms, stairs, ladders, handrails, gratings, and equipment supports.
• Interpret drawings, calculations, specifications, vendor drawings, and engineering mark-ups; incorporate design changes and vendor information.
• Prepare general arrangement, framing, section, elevation, detailed, fabrication, and erection drawings.
• Prepare material take-offs, bills of materials, and design reports.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, participate in model reviews, and resolve clashes and interface issues.

Role requirements

• Proven track record creating offshore civil and structural design layouts and 3D models using SP3D.
• Experience supporting engineering and construction projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, vendor drawings, and mark-ups.
• Deliverables must comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes.
