Role Description
The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the planning, design, and coordination of civil engineering works related to large-scale infrastructure, real estate, and commercial development projects.
This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves producing and reviewing engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee stormwater management systems, site grading, drainage, utilities, and other key civil works, while collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and external consultants.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, mentoring junior engineers, conducting site visits, and providing technical input for feasibility studies and investor proposals.
The role also requires proactive risk assessment, quality assurance, and continuous coordination with stakeholders to support the successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, including infrastructure, site development, and utilities.
- Experience in Planning and coordination of project phases, from concept through detailed design and construction.
- Hands-on expertise in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and flood mitigation solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring Civil Engineers within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional engineering license or chartered status (or eligibility) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools).
- Sound knowledge of UAE regulations, international design standards, and permitting processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects in the Middle East is an advantage.
