Senior Civil Engineer

Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 10 years of relevant civil construction experience, including residential and commercial building projects.
• Practical knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil construction activities.
• Experience with quantities, measurements, BOQs, work schedules, DPRs, project monitoring, and site-team coordination.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and independently monitor multiple sites.
• Planning, coordination, problem-solving, site-management, communication, and reporting skills are sought.
• MS Excel and other construction or project management software proficiency is preferred.

Site and project management

• Supervise day-to-day work at residential and commercial project sites and coordinate supervisors, contractors, and workers.
• Prepare BOQs, calculate material and work quantities, verify completed work measurements, and maintain records.
• Prepare schedules and timelines, monitor progress against plans, identify delays, and prepare DPRs.
• Ensure work follows drawings, specifications, approved methods, and quality standards; monitor workmanship and execution.
• Coordinate material requirements and timely availability, monitor usage, and reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders; resolve site issues and update management.
• Maintain documentation, measurements, progress records, and site reports; visit and monitor multiple sites as required.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹50,000–₹80,000 per month.
