Senior Civil Engineer / Construction Project Manager – Taif, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional
Senior Civil Engineer / Construction Project Manager
- for a residential construction project in Taif, Saudi Arabia.
- The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Saudi Arabia, including:
- Project planning and development
- Structural evaluation
- Municipality approvals
- Site supervision
- Contractor coordination
- Budgeting and cost estimation
- Full construction execution from foundation to final completion
Initial Scope of Work
- The selected engineer will initially:
- Review and evaluate our current architectural and structural drawings
- Provide professional feedback and recommendations
- Identify any structural, design, execution, or cost concerns
- Prepare an estimated construction cost and project timeline
- Advise on construction methods, materials, and optimization
- Potentially supervise and manage the project through completion
- The drawings currently include:
- Architectural layouts
- Structural foundation and column plans
- Reinforcement details
- Beam and slab details
- Stair and water tank details
- Construction notes and execution details
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of construction experience
- Strong Saudi Arabia project experience is mandatory
- Experience with villas, residential, or mid-rise buildings
- Ability to read and evaluate structural and architectural drawings
- Experience dealing with Saudi municipalities, permits, contractors, and suppliers
- Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code and local construction standards
- Ability to prepare BOQ, cost estimation, and execution planning
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
Preferred
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia
- Immediate availability
- Experience independently managing projects
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration is a plus
- PMP certification is an advantage
