Key Responsibilities

• Optimise and continuously improve 4G/5G Radio Access Network performance.
• Perform detailed RF and network performance analysis, identifying issues and improvement opportunities.
• Develop optimisation strategies across coverage, capacity, configuration and customer experience.
• Support 5G modernisation, network upgrades, new feature trials and technology rollouts.
• Investigate complex RAN faults, interference and escalated customer-impacting network issues.
• Analyse multiple network and performance data sources to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with technology vendors including Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco and network optimisation/tool providers to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, knowledge sharing and mentoring to other engineers.

• Essential Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in Mobile RAN planning, optimisation and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent tertiary engineering qualification.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G RAN architecture, RF principles and network optimisation.
• Proven ability to analyse complex network performance data and translate findings into engineering solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across complex wireless network environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering teams, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Expert-level RF optimisation knowledge and coding/data analytics capability are highly desirable.
