Overview

Location: Dubai Hills

• Salary: to be discussed as per experience
• Should have the following qualities:
• Excellent command in making sculpted/carved and 3D cakes.
• Excellent command in making Complex wedding cakes and working closely with clients to propose innovative ideas for making unique cakes.
• Should be able to work closely on Corporate orders and manage bulk orders.
• should be able to fill and stack a cake.
• Excellent command on making fondant toys and toppers for cake.
• Should be able to work independently and manage timelines for the whole team.
• should be able to cover a cake with fondant/buttercream and decorate as per customer needs.
• -Must have good handwriting for cakes
• -Should know how to decorate Royal icing Cookies, make cake-ops, donuts, macarons.
• should be able to make sugar flowers, wafer paper flowers and all kinds of edible decorations.
• should be able to use different buttercream techniques.
• should be able to work with isomalt and other mediums used in cake decoration.
• should ensure that all orders reach customers in the assigned time in perfect condition.
• should be iable to design celebration menus for different occasions like Christmas, mothers day, fathers day, Eid etc.
• Should have baking knowledge and work in the kitchen as a team in baking and decorating department.
• should be able to keep the work space clean and organized all the time.
• -Should be able to keep track of inventory and stock and place timely orders for restocking.
• Should be able to lead a team of cake decorators and ensure the discipline of kitchen is maintained, hygiene standards are always maintained and operates with professionalism.
• Salary and benefits to be discussed with candidate as per experience and skill.
• This position is based in Dubai so we prefer candidates already working in Dubai cakeshops.
• Prior experience in baking and leadership roles will be given special preference.
